Eligibility Requirements

an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, humanitarian visa holder or New Zealand citizen

Aged 18 or over, no longer at school

Living or working in NSW with Appropriate Australian working rights

Physically Fit- You will be on your feet continuously during your 9.5-hour shift, involving a lot of walking.

Negative Drug Test- You must be able to provide a negative pre-employment drug test.

Availability for shifts- Amazon Associates are required to be available for between 3-4 shifts per week. 80% of 80% of the workforce is required full time. Shifts are day and night. Day Shift starts between 7am and 7.30am
TME Trade Training in partnership with Amazon and Training Services NSW are excited to announce a fee-free program delivered under the NSW Government’s Smart & Skilled program
Course outcomes:
On completing the training, you will have the opportunity of employment at the Amazon fulfillment Centre in Kemps Creek (subject to the usual interview and pre-employment checks). A NSW Training Services liaison officer will facilitate with employment opportunities.
The program will train anyone (who meets eligibility criteria) in the basic skills Amazon needs for entry level workers, which include.
- Induction and site safety
- Manual handling methods
- How to pick and process orders
A nationally recognised Statement of Attainment will be issued on successful completion of the program.
Subjects that will be covered for delivery are:
· TLIF3003 Implement and monitor work health and safety procedures · TLID1001 Shift materials safely using manual handling methods. · TLIA0022 Pick and process orders. |

All students are expected to comply with worksite WHS procedures and policies during practical activities.
