The Management Edge (TME) in partnership are excited to announce a potential *fully funded program delivered under the NSW Smart & Skilled program.

As a result of employer and industry feedback TME is conducting this program to assist employers, apprentices, and jobseekers in learning the key skills of chainsaw operation and felling small trees.

*Program funding is subject to students Expressions of interest and successful application of the funding proposal.

Course Outcomes:

The Program will focus on giving students basic understanding both in knowledge and skills in the safe use of chainsaws and the felling of trees correctly and safely in the workplace.

Course structure:

AHCMOM213 Operate and maintain chainsaws

AHCPCM203 Fell small trees

 

Induction:

Students will be introduced to the course, delivery and assessment methods, and expectations and rights of trainees prior to course commencement.

Assessment Methods:

  • Knowledge assessments
  • Case studies
  • Practical exercises
  • Observation in a
    simulated environment

Funding: This training is subsidised by the NSW Government under the Smart and
Skilled program For more information and to complete an expression of Interest, subject to eligibility.

Workplace Training: On the job training and assessment activities are built into our programs to benefit employers and enable learners to develop relevant workplace skills.
