The Lottery Retailers Association (LRA) in partnership with The Australian Lottery and Newsagents Association (ALNA) and The Management Edge (TME) have developed a number of nationally recognised qualifications designed to meet the needs of Lottery and Newsagency industries.
TME is the accredited RTO responsible for the delivery and assessment of the following qualification developed and promoted by jointly with the ALNA & the LRA.

BSB40215 Certificate IV in Business
This course is designed for industry employees looking to boost their business services skills through our tailored industry program. MSS40316 Certificate IV in Competitive Systems & Practices
The aim of “Competitive Systems and Practices” is to establish and maintain a culture of efficiency and continuous improvement within an enterprise – targeting improvements in efficiency, waste reduction, customer service, employee morale and costs.
This qualification provides learners with a systematic process and a range of tools which can be used in combination to target and address key issues within your organisation. The program would benefit experienced staff who are involved in process management, staff supervision or who want to develop skills in implementing and managing continuous improvement initiatives in their workplace.
BSB40315 Certificate IV in Customer Engagement plus BSB40215 Certificate IV in Business Sales
This double qualification in Customer Engagement and Business Sales has been specifically designed to meet the needs of the lottery and newsagency industry. The program develops skills in building and maintaining effective customer relationships within a business sales environment.
The programs focuses on managing sales and service delivery, undertaking marketing activities, building strong customer relationships and developing leadership skills.
BSB42015 Certificate IV in Leadership & Management
This program is designed for people wanting to take the next step in their careers where leadership of front-line staff is a key focus. Learners will develop skills and knowledge related to developing effective teams, managing team and individual performance, monitoring and improving customer service and contributing to workplace innovation.
TLI42016 Certificate IV in Logistics
TLI42016 Certificate IV in Logistics designed for those looking to further develop their skill in the transport, storage or logistics Industries. The program has more of a management focus and prepares learners with the skills and knowledge needed to analyse and evaluate current work practices and undertake more complex operational tasks.
BSB51915 Diploma of Leadership & Management plus BSB50215 Diploma of Business
This double qualification in business and management has been specifically designed to meet the needs of the lottery and newsagency industry. It develops the key skills needed to manage and operate a successful business.
The Diploma of Business targets the practical skills and capabilities required of contemporary managers across a wide variety of contexts, while the Diploma of Leadership and Management addresses the core leadership competencies required of managers in today’s commercial environment. It is particularly appropriate for
those with operational or technical backgrounds who are now tasked with the managing of others.
BSB51415 Diploma of Project Management
This course is designed for senior team leaders, project officers, senior administration staff or experienced managers of staff who require an understanding of and competence in all aspects of the Project Management cycle. It covers the topic in significantly more detail than a single unit.
